The top prize for winners of the Pokemon Card Design Contest in 2010, the Illustion's Zorua & Zoroark cards were awarded to category winners by contest organizers Shogakukan. Part of a tie-in to the theatrical release of the Ruler of Illusions: Zoroark movie, the contest featured ten categories for prospective artists to submit artwork. Contestants were required to design a Zorua or Zoroark Pokemon card using pre-made templates to submit to the competition, with the winners announced on July 27th of the same year. Shogakukan reports each category winner to have received 100 issues of each card they created; however, the Pucchigumi winner Miho Sugano claims their package contained 200. Illustrated by the Pucchigumi winner Miho Sugano, showcases their mastery with colored pencils and drawing various Pokemon. The scene features a plethora of dark-type Pokemon joyfully enjoying themselves on a carnival teacup ride and is in stark contrast to many contest entries featuring battles. One of only 100 of these cards awarded, according to Shogakukan, this Illusion's Zorua represents a fantastic choice for collectors who enjoy cards with a story, unique art, and overwhelming rarity. PSA has only graded 29 examples of this card in PSA 10, making this one of the more difficult cards to grade in this elusive set. An impressive showing by a talented young artist, the Pucchigumi Winner Illusion's Zorua will give you the warm fuzzy feeling you had at the carnival as a kid.
