Held from August 21 to 23 the 2015 Pokemon World Championships were held at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston Massachusetts featuring cards from Black & White Boundaries Crossed to XY Ancient Origins. Given to participants of the tournament, Champion’s Festival was given out in a set of seven different languages: English, Japanese, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian with the STAFF stamped examples only being given out to staff of the event. Illustrated by Nooki Saitou the 2016 Champion’s Festival draws inspiration from the many statues and monuments in Boston, with a tremendous depiction of and Arceus statue in the background with Pikachu frolicking in a park with a gaggle of Duckletts, Psyduck, Ponyta, and Swanna. Only given out to the top two Pokemon trainers in each Category, this Finalist stamped version of the card represents the second most difficult variant of the card to obtain, making this a rare opportunity to see this card on the open market.
