Held from August 13 to 15, the 2012 Pokemon World Championships were held in Waikoloa Village, Hawaii and featured cards from the Black and White generation. Given to participants of the tournament, Tropical Beach was given out as a set of seven different languages: English, Japanese, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian with the STAFF stamped copies only being given out to staff of the event. Illustrated by Nooki Saitou, this card features a playful illustration of Pikachu, Pansage, Panpour, and Pansear dancing while Psyduck skulks in the water and is the last year Tropical Beach was printed. This particular stamped version was a special release only given to the top thirty-two placed players in each division of the championships, making this one of the rarer variants of an already exceedingly rare card to obtain.
