No Symbol Jungle holographic cards were among the first printings of the cards for the unlimited release of the set, which were subsequently released in error without the trademark Jungle flower set symbol stamped underneath the bottom right corner of the illustration. Known for a temper as big as its belly, Snorlax has a tendency for sleeping in the most inopportune places, and being thrown into fits of rage when awoken from a nap prematurely. Blocking the paths of players of the original generation of Pokemon games on Route 12 and Route 16, Snorlax required the Pokeflute to rouse it from its slumber to engage it in battle. Garnering its English name from the words snore and relax it truly lives by these words; with the sprite model for Snorlax gradually changing over the course of nearly two decades as a part of a long-running gag that when they are viewed side-by-side it depicts Snorlax standing up. Displaying an almost storybook depiction by Ken Sugimori, the Jungle version of this card is instinctively what people think of when this Pokemon is mentioned, making it a card that you might not want to sleep on.
