Much like the famed Illustrator Pikachu, the Design Contest Illusion’s Zoruas were given out as prizes to winners of a Pokemon card design contest as a tie-in to the theatrical release of the Ruler of Illusions: Zoroark movie. Using pre-made templates, contestants were required to design a Zorua Pokemon card to submit to the contest, with each of the 6 eventual winners receiving 100 copies each of the card that they designed, with this copy coming from the Pucchigumi category winner. As such, this particular card is one of only 100 suspected copies of these cards to ever have been made, and is a fantastic choice for collectors who enjoy cards with a story, unique art, and overwhelming rarity.
