Held from August 18 to 20, the 2017 Pokemon World Championships were held in Anaheim, California and featured cards as far back as XY Primal Clash. Given to participants of the tournament, Champion’s Festival was given out in a set of seven different languages: English, Japanese, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian with the STAFF stamped copies only being given out to staff of the event. Illustrated by Nooki Saitou, this card features Pkachu, Piplup, Litten, and Rowlet riding a Rotom with various other Pokemon and a Psyduck in a tizzy in the background. This particular version was only given to the top sixteen finishers in each age grouping in the tournament, and is a fantastic introduction for anyone looking to foray into collecting World Championship cards without breaking the bank, Champion’s Festival has something for everyone.
