Among the first Pokemon cards ever released, Topsun cards were released in Japan by Top-Seika in packs of their chewing gum in the late 1990s. Collectors would receive two cards randomly inserted inside their packs of gum featuring artwork by legendary Pokemon illustrator Ken Sugimori, with packs containing holographic Prism cards extremely hard to pull. Featured here is one of the Charizard Prism cards from the second TopSun set Southern Island, graded by Beckett and deemed worthy of a 9.5 Gem Mint designation. Extremely difficult to source in any condition, this copy is one of an elite few to have survived the test of time, making it perfect for any Charizard collector.
