Introduced as a special chase card for the Pokemon Trading Card Game in EX Team Rocket Returns, Gold Star cards have a pull rate of approximately only one per every two booster boxes. Showcasing the artwork of the shiny variants of Pokemon, a special easter egg introduced in the Pokemon Gold & Silver games, shiny Pokemon featured distinct color variations and dazzling entrance animations that would scatter stars all over the screen.
