What cards are eligible for redemption?

Accepted Answer

Only Red Rookie cards (Red RC) of that season’s NBA Rookie of the Year are eligible for redemption. Other Red RCs that do not feature the ROY do not qualify for Credit.

Question 2

When will the program begin and end?

Accepted Answer

The Rookie of the Year redemption period will open shortly after the NBA announces the winner of the ROY award in the spring. Submission details will be provided at that point. The first eligible redemption window will remain open for a period of 5 months. 
If this year’s Rookie of the Year goes on to win an MVP award later in their career, the redemption window will re-open from that announcement for a period of 5 months.
If this year’s Rookie of the Year goes on to be inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame within 10 years of retirement from the league after winning ROY and an MVP award, the redemption window will re-open from that point in time for a period of 5 months. 
Eligible cards must be received by the conclusion of each respective redemption period.

Question 3

What happens if the player does not achieve any additional awards?

Accepted Answer

If the winning Rookie of the Year player does not win an MVP and is not inducted into the Hall of Fame, their card will no longer be eligible for redemption after the first open Redemption Period.

Question 4

How do I redeem my Eligible Card?

Accepted Answer

To redeem your card, you must:
1.	Have or create a Fanatics account.
2.	Ensure your card is authentic and in fair condition, free from significant tears or major creases.
3.	Ship your Eligible Card via mail following the Program submission instructions.

Question 5

What do I receive in exchange for the Red RC Card?

Accepted Answer

When you redeem your cards, you will receive FanCash. Credit may not be exchanged for cash or any other monetary value and may only be utilized on the Fanatics platforms. Credit will be issued to your account after it has been verified and ingested. The amount of store credit is determined by the credit table above. Credit does not expire.

Is there a limit on the number of cards I can redeem?

Each account can redeem up to 50 Cards per open Redemption Period.
