1999 Skybox E-X Century Football continued in the footsteps of its predecessors with yet another ambitious and technologically advanced release. The cards featured striking holographic patterns and geometric designs characteristic of the E-X Century brand.
The set also offered another round of coveted Essential Credentials cards. Essential Credentials Now issues such as this Brett Favre had additional silver foil printing elements and serial numbering that corresponded with the card’s spot on the checklist. Thus, Favre’s #16 has a print run /16. Essential Credentials Future parallels feature a gold color scheme on each card, and the serial numbering runs in inverse order of card numbers.
