When it comes to sports royalty, there's no denying Michael Jordan's place on the throne. A king on the court and in basketball cards, his legend will never die. Jordan has no shortage of great basketball autograph options, but this is one that came in packs of baseball cards.
2008 Upper Deck Goudey Sport Royalty Autographs feature more than 40 signers with His Airness leading the way. But beyond him are several other legends from a variety of sports like Bill Russell, Jack Nicklaus, LeBron James, Gordie Howe and Derek Jeter. Significantly tougher than the product's standard Goudey autographs, Jordan is also a short print within the set. This is one of two copies graded by BGS.
Using a layout similar to 1933 Goudey Sport Kings, the on-card signature is complimented by a vintage look and feel. It combines the best of the vintage and modern hobby's both in its design and overall package—a card truly fit for a king.
