Whilte it would go on to gain massive distribution in hobby shops and retail stores, early versions of Panini Mosaic were limited online exclusives. This includes 2018-19 Panini Prizm Mosaic Basketball, which not only has Shai Gilgeous-Alexander rookies cards but first-year autographs as well. His lone signature card on the checklist has three parallels including a 1/1 Black.
However, this is a similar but separate 1/1 Black version. Not part of the regular release, this card was found in one of Panini's special White Boxes. These were typically distributed by the company's customer service department for replacements.
At first glance, this card looks the same. However, instead of the usual serial number, there's a special Panini White Box sticker on the back.
The card comes in a holder from Panini.
