The Exquisite Collection product went out with a bang, with the final edition of the groundbreaking product once again delivering the high-end goods to collectors. That included some of the most prized printings of some of the game’s most legendary icons, including Michael Jordan and LeBron James. No two players are more closely associated with the Exquisite era than the two all-time greats. Upper Deck relied on these two titans of the basketball card industry to help launch Exquisite Collection in 2003, and their presence throughout the seven seasons of Exquisite releases includes some of the most coveted cards ever produced.
This Autographed Dual Exquisite Patches is a gorgeous representation of Jordan and James’ influence in one of the most important products ever produced. The intricately die-cut, lettered patch windows hold multi-colored, game-used swatches from His Airness and King James. And that treasured /23 production run places it alongside many of the other revered Exquisite Jordan/James combos that share the same serial-numbered stamping.
PSA, which deemed this example Authentic, has only assessed three total copies of this card, which remains one of the most sought-after printings from the final Exquisite edition.
