While Pokémon is known primarily as a trading card game, it's early years include some more traditional trading card sets from Topps. Among them is 2000 Topps Chrome Pokémon, which has soared in popularity over the years. Using art from the animated television show, the checklist was split between two releases with Charizard being one of the Series 1 headliners. Every base card has three parallels with Tekno Chrome being the rarest of them at 1:15 packs. With approximately two per box and 78 cards on the Series 1 checklist, the odds suggest it would take nearly 40 hobby boxes to land one.
This is one of just two copies to garner a Pristine 10 grade from CGC.
