2018 marked the 25th anniversary of Topps Finest Baseball's landmark debut. The line that introduced Refractors to the baseball card world evolved in a lot of ways in that time but one where it didn't was design. As colorful and modern as ever, 2018 Topps Finest Baseball kept with the Refractors that made it famous but has added serial numbers and autographs in more recent years.
2018 Topps Finest Baseball lives up to its name by including rookie signatures of four-time MVP, Shohei Ohtani. Numbered /50, only his /25 Orange Refractor, /5 Red Refractor, /5 Red Wave Refractor and 1/1 Superfractor have few copies.
The card, which uses a batting photo, comes with an on-card signature, which has been assessed as a 10 by BGS. The card carries a Gem Mint BGS 9.5 grade. Its subgrades include 10 for Centering, and 9.5 for Edges and Corners. No copies rank higher in the BGS registry.
The certification number on this card has been checked against the third-party grader's online database and is active as of 06/01/2026.
