The November 2011 Battle Carnival tournament was part of that year’s series of Battle Road competition and took place in Osaka and Tokyo, Japan, in November. Competitors that finished 1st, 2nd, pr 3rd each received a special Victory Cup card, such as this stunner of a PSA 10 offering. Other years, there were 18 cards per placement awarded. But in 2011, only six were awarded per placemen due to the season being cut short due to a tsunami. To date, only four of the six 1st place cards have been graded, with three of those earning a PSA 10 holder. The artwork on the 1st place card features the three starter Pokémon from the Unova region – Oshawott, Snivy, and Tepig – as well as Reshiram, Zekrom, and the Victory Pokémon Victini. That small initial distribution, combined with this example’s PSA 10 grade, is sure to have plenty of TCG bidders vying for victory this month.
