As with many superstars of his generation, Devin Booker’s 2015-16 Panini Prizm rookies stand as some of his most admired cards. And that admiration grows as the serial numbers on parallel versions shrink.
All in all, collectors had the opportunity to track down 13 parallels of Booker’s #308 rookie from the 2015-16 Prizm release. One of the most coveted was, and remains, the Gold version. With a print run /10, only the 1/1 Black Prizms has a lower serial number.
But it’s not just the print run that makes this card such a hot commodity with collectors. Gold Prizms and Refractors are revered throughout the industry. When Prizm debuted for the 2012-13 season, it came with just three Prizm parallels, with the Gold and its /10 print run being the gold standard. Despite rarer parallels coming along, that reverence for Gold remains, especially when it adorns cards as important as this Booker rookie.
