The Gold Prizm has been a hallmark of Panini’s flagship football product since the company released its highly influential gridiron debut in 2012. While there are dozens of parallels to hunt these days, that first iteration of Prizm football included just six parallels. And while two of those featured 1/1 print runs, the Gold Prizm is forever cemented in football collecting history. Flash forward to the 2018 release, when Lamar Jackson entered the league after the Baltimore Ravens selected him with the last pick of the first round of that year’s NFL Draft. By that time, the number of Prizm parallels had ballooned to 20-plus. But only three of those were scarcer than the /10 Gold Prizm. And as Panini continued to add more color to its parallel rainbow, Jackson added hardware to his resume. The two-time MVP has put himself in position to add a third such trophy to his name.
