2012-13 Panini Intrigue Basketball was a premium release that focused largely on autographs and memorabilia cards. But each box also included one bonus pack of five Intriguing Players cards. Twenty top players and rookies were included on the 200-card checklist, each appearing on 10 different cards. Joining these were /10 Gold and 1/1 Platinum parallels.
The latter is where this stunning Kobe Bryant lands. The Platinum card has two different photos of the Lakers icon on the front, an action shot and a close-up portrait. Both bring the trademark intensity that exemplifies the Mamba Mentality.
The layout and presentation is also reminiscent of the iconic Flair Showcase releases of the late 1990s.
This 1/1 has been graded a Gem Mint BGS 9.5. Subgrades include 10 for Centering, and 9.5 for Corners and Surface.
