1984-85 Star Basketball is a landmark release. While it's notable for several reasons, one of the biggest is the fact that it includes the first Michael Jordan Chicago Bulls cards. However, instead of traditional packs and boxes, the cards were packaged in polybags as team sets.
Of course, Jordan's main base card came with the Chicago Bulls set. But those aren't his only cards on the checklist. This Olympic and Specialty bag has not one but two different early MJ's, one for being a member of the gold medal-winning USA Basketball team at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics and another honoring his Rookie of the Year Award. This means two guaranteed 1984 Star Jordans that have never circulated or been graded individually.
Jordan is on the front and back of this sealed bag, which was graded a NM-MT+ 8.5 by GAI.
