The 2000 Tropical Mega Battle Tournament took place in Honolulu, Hawaii. After the inaugural Tropical Mega Battle was restricted to participants from Japan and the U.S., the 2000 version opened up to Latin American and other Asian countries. Each competitor received a copy of this Lucky Stadium card featuring artwork commemorating the beachy locale of the tournament by fan-favorite Kouichi Ooyama. The exact print run of these cards is unknown, though it’s believed 42 players competed in the tournament. CGC has only graded 10 examples, with this offering one of three to earn a CGC 10.
