2012-13 Panini National Treasures Notable Nicknames autographs another element to standard signatures with the addition of an inscription from some of the game's biggest stars. Although most commonly referred to as ""Black Mamba"", Kobe Bryant was also sometimes called ""Vino""—a reference suggesting that, like wine, he got better with age.
This marked the first time that Bryant inscribed the Vino nickname on a basketball card. This isn't the case for all copies of the /49 card. Some have the ""Black Mamba"" moniker instead, so the actual number of ""Vino"" inscriptions is smaller.
Both the autograph and inscription have been assessed a 10 grade.
The certification number on this card has been checked against the third-party grader's online database and is active as of 05/07/2026.
