After the NBA granted Panini exclusive licensing rights to produce NBA cards in 2009, one popular aspect of the market disappeared – chromium cards. Between brands like Topps Chrome, Bowman Chrome, and Finest, basketball card collectors had at least one chromium choice every year from 1993 to 2008. Panini brought chromium style back into the industry four years into its journey as a mainstream basketball card producer by introducing Panini Prizm in 2012. The follow-up to that breakthrough set offered up even more possibilities – and brought collectors Giannis’ iconic Prizm rookie card as well as a spot on the corresponding Autographs checklist.
This /10 Gold Prizms is one of five parallels the autograph had available in packs. It's the rarest version outside of the 1/1 Black Prizms.
