This 2018 Panini National Treasures Shohei Ohtani ranks as one of his best base set rookie cards. Part of the Rookie Material Signatures subset that kicked off the set, it's a stunning RPA. The autograph is hard-signed and has been assessed by PSA/DNA as a 10. It's also the more detailed version of his signature that Ohtani used early in his MLB career, which stands out to the more simplified one he uses today. The jumbo patch has three distinct colors and plenty of texture. It appears to come from a letter patch. This is one of just three copies of the card to carry a Mint PSA 9 card grade along with a 10 autograph. None are higher. The certification number on this card has been checked against the third-party grader's online database and is active as of 11/28/2025.
