2025 Topps Chrome Baseball introduced special Gold Logoman patches worn by MLB's 2024 MVP, Cy Young and Rookie of the Year award winners. No other players got these patches. Ohtani's 2024 was one of the best ever by a baseball player. He became the first member of the 50/50 Club, hitting 54 home runs and stealing 50 bases in his first season with the Dodgers. Ohtani capped off his third MVP season with a World Series win.
Just four of these Ohtani Gold Logoman cards were produced with this being copy 1/4. The patch came from a jersey he wore on April 12, 2025, a game against the Chicago Cubs where Ohtani went 1-3 and stole his fourth base of the season.
