As arguably the most hyped prospect in sports history, LeBron James entered the NBA, and the basketball card industry, with monumental expectations. In the 2000s, the responsibility to match King James up with Michael Jordan fell on the shoulders of Upper Deck, who proudly obliged by producing dual autos featuring the two masters of the game starting in LeBron’s rookie season of 2003. UD continued producing high-end autos featuring the two tremendous players through the rest of the decade, including this 2005 SP Game Used Edition /50 Authentic Fabrics Dual Autograph with game-used patches and striking on-card signatures. Of the 30 cards in the set, only this offering features players from different teams – a fitting tribute to two players who are forever connected.
This is one of only two examples of this card to earn a PSA 10 grade. The beautiful imagery on the card shows James and Jordan rising up to shoot. And there are sure to be plenty of bidders looking to rise to the occasion in an attempt to land this dynamic dual issue.
