2006-07 E-X Basketball marked the brand's first hardcourt appearance since Upper Deck had acquired the Fleer name and its portfolio in 2005. Among the highlights in the set's return were the Essential Credentials parallels.
Available in both Future and Now versions, each played off of the base set's card numbers. Print runs for Now versions match the card number. Essential Credentials Future flip that idea and count backwards. With Michael Jordan being card #4 in the 80-card set, it means a print run /77.
This is a condition-sensitive release due in large part to the die-cut player images being added to the card. Of the 51 times this card has been graded by BGS, just two have higher grades than this Gem Mint 9.5.
The certification number on this card has been checked against the third-party grader's online database and is active as of 08/05/2025.
