Konnor Griffin entered the 2026 as baseball's consensus top prospect and it didn't take long for him to get called up to Pittsburgh. Selected by the Pirates with the ninth pick in the 2024 draft, the shortstop is a toolsy type of player who can hit for power, shows tremendous speed and is a strong fielder. He dominated A, High-A and Double-A ball in his first pro season, batting .333 with a combined 21 home runs and 94 RBI in 122 games. Still just 19, he made his big league debut on April 3 with plenty of expectations.
His 1st Bowman Chrome Autograph is found in packs of 2024 Bowman Draft Baseball. Not only is it Griffin's first certified autograph card in a MLB uniform but it will also be one of the most important baseball cards of his career. Of the base version's nearly 30 parallels, this Red Xfractor that's numbered /5 is one of the rarest. Only the 1/1 Superfractor and four different 1/1 Printing Plates are more rare.
Red Xfractors are exclusive to HTA boxes and not in the standard hobby jumbo. The card is hard-signed and this is the bookend 5/5 copy.
The card comes graded a Gem Mint PSA 10 and is a pop 2 in the company's registry.
The certification number on this card has been checked against the third-party grader's online database and is active as of 05/20/2026.
