Slammy is one of Panini's more recent additions to their portfolio of short print basketball inserts. Drawing from the caritcature aesthetic that was popular in the late 1980s and early '90s, particularly on t-shirts, players are portrayed artistically. While the renderings are detailed, proportions are exaggerated. The end result makes players look like fun and dynamic cartoon characters.
2024-25 Donruss Optic Slammy inserts have two parallels, /10 Gold and 1/1 Gold Vinyl—like this Stephen Curry doing his iconic ""Night Night"" gesture. The only copy in the world, the caricature isn't the only thing that makes it stand out visually. The background includes the familiar gold spiral pattern that all of Panini's Gold Vinyl parallels have. It's the same one used for Superfractors as well.
Blending a retro foundation with both a modern superstar and the ultimate in rarity, this is one of the top Stephen Curry inserts ever produced.
