Showcasing the artwork of the shiny variants of Pokemon, a special easter egg introduced in the Pokemon Gold & Silver games, shiny Pokemon featured distinct color variations and dazzling entrance animations that would scatter stars all over the screen. With players only having a 1/4,096 chance of seeing one, the resulting sense of exclusivity and euphoria any time they encounter a shiny Pokemon has been perfectly embodied in these cards. Gold Star cards have an average pull rate of only one in every two booster boxes. One of the most desired cards from one of the most chronically under-printed sets, Team Rocket Returns, the Torchic Gold Star represents what makes collecting Pokemon cards so much fun. The card is a third-generation fire starter fan favorite, exhibiting a peak joyful design by Masakazu Fukuda.
