2025 Topps Chrome Baseball introduced special Gold MLB Batter Logo patches worn by MLB's 2024 MVP, Cy Young and Rookie of the Year award winners. No other players got these patches. Ohtani's 2024 was one of the best ever by a baseball player. He became the first member of the 50/50 Club, hitting 54 home runs and stealing 50 bases in his first season with the Dodgers. Ohtani capped off his third MVP season with a World Series win.
When it comes to history represented through baseball cards, there has, arguably, been none more important than this Gold Logoman Autograph Shohei Ohtani. Symbolic of his one-of-a-kind season is this 1/1 card. It's the only single-signed Gold MLB Batter Logo Patch card the Japanese superstar has in the product.
The back of the swatch is visible on the reverse of the card and comes with a MLB Authentication hologram. This traces the card to April 29, 2025 when the Dodgers played the Miami Marlins. Ohtani went 1-4 with a home run, his seventh of the season.
The blue ink autograph is on-card.
One-of-a-kind player, one-of-a-kind season, one-of-a-kind baseball card.
This comes in the original sealed holder from Topps.
