A Brazilian publishing company that specialized in watercolors, Editora Aquarela printed football cards in 1958 to celebrate Brazil’s World Cup victory. The cards contain perforated edges as they appeared on a sheet as a 24-card set. Collectors separated them and glued them into an album, Brasil Campeao Mundial de Futebol 1958 (Football World Champions Brazil 1958). As a result, and since they were printed on thin stock, few of these cards survived as singles, much less in good condition.
Pele’s #10 card came in two versions with one slight difference – the color of the number on the back. Some have a black 10, while others have a blue 10. Presented here is an EX-MT PSA 6 example of the blue-numbered version, which is a pop 6 in the company's registry. Of the more than 250 copies PSA has assessed, just one ranks higher.
The certification number on this card has been checked against the third-party grader's online database and is active as of 05/12/2026.
