The 2005 Suicune Gold Star was officially released in the English EX Unseen Forces expansion on August 22, 2005. It features a distinct ""Shiny"" artwork illustrated by Masakazu Fukuda and is notoriously difficult to pull. As a result, it is one of the most sought-after legendary Gold Star Pokémon.
It is estimated that only one Gold Star card is pulled from every two booster boxes, making the chase for any specific gold star extremely difficult. Today, this remains one of the most sought after Suicune cards of all time, and a must-have for Gold Star collectors.
