This 2025 Topps Chrome Dual Gold MLB Logoman Autograph featuring Shohei Ohtani and Aaron Judge represents both baseball and baseball card history. Beginning in 2025, MLB's reigning MVP, Cy Young and Rookie of the Year award winners wore special Gold MLB Logo patches on their jerseys. Only these six players get them each year.
2025 Topps Chrome Baseball includes a very small number of cards with these patches. Individual players have four Gold Logoman Patch cards plus one autographed version. Each of the three awards also has a dual version with patches from both the American League and National League winners. These also have four copies each plus one dual autograph, such as this Ohtani/Judge card.
This historic 1/1 has game-worn Gold Logoman patches from both players as well as on-card signatures. The patches have MLB Authentication, which means they can be traced to the game they were worn in. Ohtani's patch was worn in a May 26 game against the Cleveland Guardians. The Dodgers won 7-2 and Ohtani launched his 19th home run of the season. Judge's patch came from a May 30 game in which the Yankees faced Ohtani and the Dodgers in Los Angeles. Judge hit a double and a home run—also his 19th—in the matchup.
With the Gold Logoman patches representing their 2024 seasons, this card connects to Ohtani's founding of the 50/50 Club after hitting 54 home runs and stealing 59 bases. Judge took AL MVP honors after smashing 58 homers and driving in 144 runs. The two met in the World Series as well, adding yet another connection to this special, one-of-a-kind card that truly is a symbol and embodiment of the best that baseball has to offer.
The card comes in a sealed Topps holder.
