This fantastic /250 Xfractor celebrates the 2002 Super Bowl that launched the Brady and Patriots’ dynasty. It was the first title for Brady and the Pats, so it holds special meaning for fans.
More than 20 years ago, Brady took his team to the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans to play the Rams. Only months earlier, the United States had endured an unprecedented attack on the nation, so hearts were heavy going into this game. But the country felt it was important to continue the tradition. With the game knotted at 17, Brady led his team down the field for a game-winning field goal. And so it began.
But his success was by no means a foregone conclusion. The scouting report on Brady at the 2000 NFL combine said he has a poor build, lacks great physical stature and strength, and gets knocked down easily. Brady replied, “That gets me fired up because what the hell do these people know?” Brady added, “That sounds like (they are describing) Joe Montana, right there.” Montana, of course, was his boyhood idol. And he was spot on. This blazer in a PSA 10 should help launch any collection to the next level and hold special meaning for its new collector.
