How did this guy get so good? Luka is 23 years old, and he has been playing basketball for almost 23 years. According to his mother, he started playing basketball when he was seven months old. Is anybody surprised? He could ball by two and started playing organized games at seven against kids much older and taller. Luka said he had to outsmart opponents when he was young since they were so much bigger and faster than him.
Not so much anymore. But with the departure of Jalen Brunson for next season, a few fans seem worried about the team. While the MVP award should not be Luka’s focus, Brunson’s departure makes it likely he will win it since it will likely increase his floor time and ppg. That should bode well for his cards. Christian Wood should fill the Brunson gap and Tim Hardaway, Jr. will be back in the lineup, so the Mavs should be able to muster another strong season. Luka has been exceeding expectations since he was born. Does anyone doubt he will do it again this season? If he does, his sensational NT RPA /20 should have a good season, too.
