This card features NFL rookie Steve Young surrounded by a green border with white lines resembling a football field. Due to its unique design and placement on Topps production sheets, this card is notoriously condition sensitive and seldom earns PSA's 10 assessment. It did so here and is currently one of only nine in existence. Supply cannot meet demand. This card fits its holder like a glove, boasting pin-point sharp corners along with edges which lack chipping. The card's color scheme remains bright and the print is near pristine. After a brief stint with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Young was traded to the San Francisco 49ers where he finished his career. Steve was Joe Montana's backup for four seasons before he took over at the helm, helping win three Super Bowls over a seven-year span. In March of 2017, a PSA 10 example of this card sold for $9,500. In June of 2020, a PSA 10 example of this card sold for $35,300. This card boasts massive investment potential and should appreciate in value.
