Though his rookie season took place two years prior, Tom Brady didn’t make his Topps Finest debut until the 2002 set. That came one year after the first appearance of Xfractor-patterned parallels. First produced in baseball and football in 2001, X-Fractors place the reflective Refractor effect throughout a checkboard pattern across the front of the card in an enhanced design reminiscent of late 1990s Atomic Refractors. That pattern and Brady made for a beautiful combination on this card, the 01/20 example of which is presented here. With only one BGS 10 and one PSA 10 example of this card in existence, this offering stands as one of the finest examples of this Finest printing.
