Starting in 2016, the Walmart-exclusive Topps Holiday product brought a bit of extra cheer to baseball collectors in the cold winter months of the offseason. The product acted as a partial parallel set to the flagship edition, adding snowflakes to that year’s design. In the third edition of the product, two of the most revered RCs in the company’s recent history got the wintery treatment. Along with Ronald Acuna Jr., Shohei Ohtani’s 2018 Topps rookies in all their various forms have maintained their status as collector favorites. The addition of an autograph and a 1/1 print run elevate this printing above many of its Ohtani rookie peers, making it a card sure to elicit plenty of cheer no matter the time of season.
