Fanatics Collect Eye Appeal
Cards graded by Third-Party Grading and Authentication services (TPGs) are independently evaluated using industry standards that can vary slightly from company to company. Grading is inherently subjective, and cards assigned the same grade may still differ in overall eye appeal and quality. This remains true whether the grading is performed by the same service or by a competitor.
Fanatics Collect Eye Appeal designations recognize cards that demonstrate exceptional visual qualities compared to others of the same grade. Cards ranking within the top 30% of examples in their grade are eligible for a Fanatics Collect Eye Appeal designation.
The program identifies and highlights cards that combine outstanding visual presentation with premium technical quality. These designations represent the top 30% (A), top 15% (E), and top 5% (S) of examples for a given grade. Only these top-of-the-grade cards are awarded one of the elite Fanatics Collect Eye Appeal distinctions.

ABOVE AVERAGE - TOP 30%
They show better overall visual appeal than most cards of the same grade.
Each card is evaluated in the context of its set, not on its own, to ensure a fair comparison of visual strength.
EXCEPTIONAL - TOP 15%
They stand out for their strong visual presentation and superior overall look compared to others in the same grade.
For one-of-ones or rare cards, comparisons are made against similar examples from the same set, with consideration for known condition challenges unique to that release.
SUPERIOR - TOP 5%
They display outstanding eye appeal, combining sharp condition with exceptional presentation.
For one-of-ones, ultra-low-population, or vintage cards, evaluations consider how each example measures up to others from the same set, factoring in the nuances and challenges specific to that issue.

How to Crossover My Old PWCC Sticker
Owners are encouraged to submit cards with existing PWCC Eye Appeal stickers for review and cross over to new Fanatics Collect Eye Appeal stickers. You can submit an edit request for cards in the Fanatics Collect Vault. Access cards in your vault, and then submit an edit request for each Eye Appeal card.
If eligible, your card will get an updated Fanatics Collect Eye Appeal sticker. If your card is not eligible to crossover, or if it is assessed to be eligible for a downgraded sticker, you will be notified so you can decide if you want to keep the existing PWCC Eye Appeal sticker or update to the Fanatics Collect sticker.
Existing PWCC Eye Appeal stickers will still be honored.
